01 / Context
The FORCE project and Lisbon's challenge
The FORCE project (From Organic waste to Resources through City Economies) was funded by the European Union under the Horizon 2020 program, with the goal of developing and testing new models for managing organic waste in urban settings.
Lisbon was one of the pilot cities, with Lisbon City Council leading the national consortium — the "Lisboa Zero" project. The challenge was to monitor in real time the impact of food-waste reduction initiatives across the city, aggregate indicators from multiple sources and produce the progress reports required by the European Commission.
Inovamatic was selected, in partnership with the design agency Ad Store, to develop the KPI dashboard and reporting interface for the Lisboa Zero project.

Built with a focus on security and reliable reporting, ensuring the integrity of the data submitted to the European Commission — including an engine for exporting formatted PDFs and Excel files.
