From a local network to a platform
awarded by the European Commission
11 years of partnership with DARiACORDAR (formerly Zero Desperdício). What began in food solidarity is today a circular economy ecosystem in full expansion — now including textile logistics — with impact across more than 3 million beneficiaries.

01 / The challenge
A growing network without the tools to match
In 2015, Zero Desperdício — today DARiACORDAR — was a young association with a clear mission: to build a network connecting those with surplus food to those who need it. The problem was operational: managing hundreds of donors, recipients, volunteers, and deliveries with spreadsheets and manual communication was unsustainable and opaque when it came to accountability to partners and funders.
The organization needed a system that was both operational — for volunteers in the field — and strategic, capable of generating the impact reports that funders and institutional partners require. A tool that would grow with the network, support hundreds of concurrent users, and produce verifiable data.
02 / The solution
Two phases. One platform that stayed.
The organization's growing complexity led us to evolve from an adapted solution to a platform designed from the ground up.
Phase 1 — WebTop CRM
2015 — 2017We deployed WebTop — our CRM and operations management platform — configured specifically for the logic of the food network: donor and recipient records, donation logging, volunteer management, automatic alerts, and periodic impact reports.
Phase 2 — 360° platform in .NET
2018 — todayAs the network grew to hundreds of organizations and demanded features no off-the-shelf system could offer, we built the 360° platform from the ground up — a proprietary .NET system on SQL Server, designed specifically for DARiACORDAR's mission. It includes solidarity-network management, donation traceability, a volunteering module, a real-time KPI dashboard, and a reporting engine for funders.
The platform in action
A logistics engine for multiple verticals.
From donation to beneficiary, every transaction is traceable and auditable — whether food or textiles. The same system, agnostic to the type of goods.

03 / Timeline
11 years of partnership
2015
Partnership begins
Zero Desperdício approaches Inovamatic to digitize the management of its donor and recipient network. We deploy WebTop CRM adapted to the association's mission.
2017
Network growth
The network expands to several cities. The system processes hundreds of donations a month and begins generating the first impact reports for institutional partners.
2018
360° platform — migration to .NET
Operational complexity demands a dedicated platform. We build the 360° system in .NET from the ground up, with full traceability, a volunteering module, and a KPI dashboard.
2018
Food Awards Portugal
DARiACORDAR receives the Food Awards Portugal — the organization's first national recognition of its impact.
2019
Three awards in a single year
The SEAL Business Sustainability Award, Sustainability Award, and The Green World Awards recognize the organization's impact model and the robustness of the data produced by the platform.
2020
European Enterprise Promotion Award
National Winner, awarded by the European Commission. The greatest recognition of the organization's journey — and of the systems that made its impact verifiable.
2022
Cumulative impact report
€63M in economic value generated, 25.2M meals, and 1.08M beneficiaries. A milestone — one the platform would go on to multiply in the years that followed.
2024
New vertical — Textile
The platform is no longer limited to food: it now manages reverse logistics for textiles, proving to be a goods-agnostic circular economy engine (111,060 m³ of water saved).
2026
Scaling up
The ecosystem multiplies its impact: €175.7M in economic value, 70.2M meals, and 3.1M beneficiaries — with 55,187 volunteers and a network of 724 donors and 389 recipients.
04 / Recognition
5 national and European awards
The awards recognize DARiACORDAR — but they rely directly on the data, reports, and traceability that the platforms we build produce.
