From a local network to a platform
awarded by the European Commission

11 years of partnership with DARiACORDAR (formerly Zero Desperdício). What began in food solidarity is today a circular economy ecosystem in full expansion — now including textile logistics — with impact across more than 3 million beneficiaries.

01 / The challenge

A growing network without the tools to match

In 2015, Zero Desperdício — today DARiACORDAR — was a young association with a clear mission: to build a network connecting those with surplus food to those who need it. The problem was operational: managing hundreds of donors, recipients, volunteers, and deliveries with spreadsheets and manual communication was unsustainable and opaque when it came to accountability to partners and funders.

The organization needed a system that was both operational — for volunteers in the field — and strategic, capable of generating the impact reports that funders and institutional partners require. A tool that would grow with the network, support hundreds of concurrent users, and produce verifiable data.

02 / The solution

Two phases. One platform that stayed.

The organization's growing complexity led us to evolve from an adapted solution to a platform designed from the ground up.

01

Phase 1 — WebTop CRM

2015 — 2017

We deployed WebTop — our CRM and operations management platform — configured specifically for the logic of the food network: donor and recipient records, donation logging, volunteer management, automatic alerts, and periodic impact reports.

02

Phase 2 — 360° platform in .NET

2018 — today

As the network grew to hundreds of organizations and demanded features no off-the-shelf system could offer, we built the 360° platform from the ground up — a proprietary .NET system on SQL Server, designed specifically for DARiACORDAR's mission. It includes solidarity-network management, donation traceability, a volunteering module, a real-time KPI dashboard, and a reporting engine for funders.

The platform in action

A logistics engine for multiple verticals.

From donation to beneficiary, every transaction is traceable and auditable — whether food or textiles. The same system, agnostic to the type of goods.
